Description

Atronous is a product data intelligence engine for Walmart Marketplace sellers and the manufacturers and distributors who supply them. It takes product information from wherever it currently lives, generates the attributes that are missing, and validates every value against category rules before the record reaches Walmart. Atronous holds a listing in the Walmart Marketplace Solution Provider Hub across Item Setup, Research & Analytics, Returns, Reviews & Feedback, and Technology Development.

It exists because most companies do not sell their catalog. They sell whatever survived item setup. Specifications live in vendor PDFs, dimensions live in CAD files and line drawings, and attribute names come from a manufacturer's vocabulary rather than a Walmart category node. Somebody translates that by hand, one SKU at a time, against a taxonomy that changes on a calendar nobody controls. The gap it produces never shows up on a report, because items that failed stopped generating signal the moment they failed. One atronous customer had selections running at 30 percent and did not know it.

Atronous closes that gap by separating two jobs most vendors run together. Vision and language models generate attribute values from PDFs, spreadsheets, images, schematics, CAD files, and APIs. A deterministic constraint layer then validates every value against category-specific rules across more than 400 categories, each with its own vocabulary, checking format, check-digit, GS1 cross-reference, uniqueness, MPN correlation, and provenance before anything is delivered. AI generates, logic validates, and the two are never conflated. What arrives is a validated subset with every exception flagged and named, rather than a complete file with errors buried inside it, delivered to your PIM, ERP, or commerce platform through APIs and webhooks, with a versioned changelog recording each rule change by date, source, and rationale.

The proof is concentrated in technical catalogs. Tjernlund, an HVAC ventilation manufacturer, tripled its selections, going from 30 percent to over 90 percent, and generated more than $660,000 in new revenue within three months. A facilities and sanitation distributor generated clean content from brand names and manufacturer part numbers alone, across tens of thousands of SKUs. CEO Jayashree Dutta led core data platform initiatives as an Engineering Leader at Walmart Global Tech, including a real-time streaming platform handling more than 100 million events a day, before leaving to co-found atronous.

Atronous is for Marketplace sellers in tools, home improvement, auto parts, electronics, HVAC, and industrial categories, and for distributors normalizing data from dozens of manufacturers who each write it differently. Saying yes means handing over what you already have, in whatever format it exists, and getting back records that have already passed the checks Walmart is about to run.
