Description

Jenny Seto is a Northwest Arkansas-based data analyst with nearly nine years of experience inside the Walmart supplier data ecosystem, helping the people and platforms that supplier teams rely on get accurate data into the right hands on time.

Jenny spent her tenure at RSi, a Circana Company. RSi is the POS and syndicated data platform many Walmart suppliers already use to read their business. As a Data Manager she sat at the production layer, managing the flow of data between external trading partners and the reporting that supplier teams use to make category, replenishment, and forecasting decisions. That seat gave her a clear view of something supplier teams learn the hard way. When a line review, a Joint Business Planning conversation, or a forecast depends on a number, the number has to tie before the meeting, not after.

The results of that discipline show up in the work itself. Jenny held 99.9% data accuracy from initial receipt through production load across external trading-partner feeds, and delivered a 92%+ on-time SLA response rate. She drove a 30% reduction in customer-reported errors by monitoring data quality proactively rather than waiting for tickets. She optimized SQL queries across Oracle and SQL Server to shorten report generation time for end users, and rebuilt the maintenance process that was creating ETL lag for downstream data consumers. When a new trading-partner feed needed to come online, she authored the file-format documentation that shortened onboarding time.

Her toolset is the one Bentonville runs on: Retail Link, Sam's Club Madrid, Scintilla, Unify, SQL Server, Oracle, and Jupyter. Earlier in her career Jenny ran her own small design business, coordinated Walmart client work at Shopper Events, and managed 155+ concurrent projects at Intertek-Moody. She is currently pursuing an Advanced Data Analytics Professional Certification through Coursera. For Walmart supplier and seller teams who need hands-on help with the data underneath their decisions, Jenny is worth a conversation.
