Description

Josh Bruns brings to GENESISX something most digital business development leaders can't claim. He has lived inside the Walmart ecosystem from nearly every angle — as an agency partner, a CPG brand leader, and an ecommerce operator — and he understands how each one thinks, what each one needs, and where the real opportunities to grow are hiding.

Josh's career is rooted in the Bentonville world. At Saatchi & Saatchi X he led the Baby and Family Care account for P&G at Walmart, managing Pampers, Luvs, Bounty, Charmin, and Puffs, forging direct relationships with Walmart Marketing and the global brand teams at P&G, and delivering shopper marketing platforms that produced incremental merchandising commitments from Walmart buyers. At Geometry Global he directed the Kimberly-Clark Walmart and Sam's Club business, leading multifunctional agency teams and partnering with client shopper marketing, sales, insights, and category management counterparts to build retailer-exclusive programs that drove both sell-in and demand creation.

At Jarden Outdoor Solutions, Josh moved to the brand side and delivered. Over four years he grew the Jarden walmart.com business by 300% to more than $14 million, taking Coleman from outside the top 20 to the seventh-highest revenue ecommerce business on the platform. He built shopper marketing programs from little to no budget that translated into multi-million dollar incremental shipments, earned a Jarden Chairman's Award of Merit nomination, and led a Coleman campaign that was featured at the Walmart Saturday Morning Meeting. At Kraft Heinz he served as Associate Director of Shopper Marketing, leading initiatives designed to drive product velocity through one of retail's most demanding environments.

At GENESISX, Josh leads digital business development with the consultative instincts of someone who has been on the other side of the table. He listens before he recommends, focuses on solving real business problems rather than closing transactions, and brings genuine fluency in the budgeting cycles, planning rhythms, and organizational dynamics of CPG supplier teams. For Walmart suppliers and sellers exploring what GENESISX can do for their business, Josh is the right starting point. He has spent his career winning at Walmart, and now helps other brands do the same.
