Description

Steve Blair founded Culture Collaborative, an advisory practice for founders, executive teams and People & Culture leaders working through growth and scale. His work centers on People & Culture strategy, organizational scaling, leadership development and culture transformation, grounded in a belief he puts simply: "Work is a gift. People deserve to love it." In July 2026 he joined New Nexus Group as VP of People & Culture, serving on the executive leadership team with responsibility for HR, IT and finance at a firm that builds relationships between established and emerging brands and omnichannel retailers. For suppliers scaling their Walmart business, Steve brings a rare combination: he spent years doing the customer work himself, and he has since built the teams that do it.

Steve spent nearly two decades in CPG sales leadership before moving into a People & Culture title. At Procter & Gamble, he progressed through account and category management roles to lead the Baby Care team serving Walmart (2004–2006), then became Associate Director of Sales Training, where he led campus recruiting and sales leadership training. He went on to serve as Director of National Accounts at Ghirardelli Chocolate, EVP of Sales at Walsworth Publishing, and Senior Director of Sales at Russell Stover Candies during its integration into Lindt & Sprüngli. At Harvest Group (2015–2022), where he rose to VP of People, Culture & Operations, the company grew past 250 people across four offices in two countries, up from 25 in a single office, and employee engagement as measured by eNPS doubled over that period. Harvest earned Entrepreneur's Top Company Culture recognition, a place among Forbes' Small Giants, and multiple years on Inc.'s Best Places to Work list. From 2023 to 2026, he served as Chief People Officer for Island Ventures and Fulcrum Collective and as Head of People & Culture at CCF Brands.
